Welcome to Worldwide Tribes,
After more than 15 years of working in the snowboarding and mountain guiding worlds, we noticed that there were few opportunities for snowboarders who wanted to take their riding to a different level.
We offer a progression of trips, which focus on the strong intermediate rider looking to ride perfect powder in the trees of Japan, all the way up to the expert rider who wants to take part in a remote backcountry expedition in the Indian Himalaya.
Snow is our passion, it is what we eat, sleep, drink, and dream about.
We design our trips with the intent of taking you riding in some of the locations that hold legendary status in snowboarding and skiing lore, while learning the techniques and skills to ride in challenging big mountain terrain. We are your coaches and guides, working with you at an individual level to custom tailor appropriate challenges and striving to create the ultimate snowboarding or skiing trip.
In no small measure the cultures of our destinations are as interesting and exciting as the riding is. From visiting Zen gardens in Japan, to seeing tango dancers in Argentina, our trips sample the authentic and fascinating cultural attractions these locations offer.
