Who we are, and where we came from

Our roots began in a love of mountains and riding in them in the snows of Winter. We soon moved into offering trips for sliding sideways in warm settings as well. We believe that if we can create an optimal environment for focusing on your sport, (the one where you're having the most fun), then you'll get better even faster. Our staff are here to help with that, and come from backgrounds ranging from professional coaches, guides, atheletes, body workers, yogis, chefs, videographers, and more.

We aim to create the best trip you've ever been on.

Benjamin Westenburg

Benjamin began his journey through the culinary world at Johnson & Wales University in 2000 when he moved from his hometown of Lincoln, NE to Denver, CO.  He reveled in the perfect opportunity to explore the vast intricacies of gastronomy, the restaurant industry, resorts, and the Rocky Mountain landscape that has captured his heart since his first trip to Colorado at age six.  Earning a degree in Culinary and Food Service Management in 2003, he continued to gain knowledge through his dedication to excel by studying under renowned Belgium pastry chef Gerard Partoens, and French master Pierre Luc, hustling to refine his own personal cooking styles and techniques.  Benjamin later, through his love for mountains and adventure, took a job in Jackson, WY and landed a position at Koshu, one of the more haute cuisine restaurants in Jackson.  After two years as Sous Chef, Ben became the GM and Executive Chef of the restaurant.

After 4 years in Jackson, Benjamin took leave to the West Coast where he was able to experience the respected culinary city delights of Portland, San Fransisco, and Los Angeles while working as a private chef for numerous clients.  With the continual flow of inspiration and new ideas, he is in constant refinement of his tastes, textures, techniques, and approach to a new found realm of the adventure travel world.

The mountains have always held a special place in Benjamin’s heart, giving him massive experiences, life lessons, and nature's perspective.  Carving his first tracks on skis at age 10, he proceeded to dabble in the many forms of the outdoors over the unfolding 20+ years of adventure.  Rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, and mountaineering are in his daily repertoire of fulfilling his need for thrill along side his simultaneous dedication and love for cooking.
