The Maldives are a surfers paradise. The waves break mostly on reef, but the reefs in the Maldives are mostly flat and do not consist of razor coral. What does this mean? Perfectly shaped waves without as much risk as other locations. There are a variety of types of waves, and depending on swell and weather conditions, (and the fact that you will be on your own boat), the surf guide will be able to select the best waves for the group.
